When you think of endurance, an athlete tends to work towards achieving goals. As you push yourself physically, the more you improve your psyche.
In the first place, a seasoned athlete is known for their performance and remaining cool under pressure. But, if you’re not an athlete, you can build up your endurance performance.
So, let’s get started. In the same way, there are many exercises you can do in your home to build endurance. First, you can use free weights or cans and hold for as long as you can. As you get more comfortable with the weight, try doing bicep curls or arm extensions.
Of course, as you increase your weight, your muscles become stronger.
As we age, our bones change. Although our bones stop developing by age 30, we can still increase our bone strength. Additionally, this helps in preventing osteoporosis. As you become stronger with exercise, you’re able to protect your bones from serious injuries.
As a result of regular exercise, we’re able to build better balance. Indeed, exercise has an impact on our health. For this reason, it is important to incorporate exercise into our daily lives.
Endurance Performance in Women and Men
While Women and Men are biologically different in their physical strength, are they equal in endurance sports. Because more Women are running and entering races, can their bodies outlast a Male? Due to Women having fattier body cells and estrogen, can they handle muscle fatigue and exhaustion better than their Male counterpart?
Although most Men are faster runners, many Women are catching up. Still, many Women have been on pace to compete with their Male counterpart.
In summary, as you engage in more physical activity, you will see your endurance performance evolve.
