October is National Healthy Lung Awareness Month. So, the average person takes over 23,000 breaths a day. Indeed, we all want to be here taking in many more breaths in our lifetime. Because many individuals have problems pertaining to their lungs, let’s take a look at symptoms that impact our lungs.

As seasons change, many individuals have problems with pollen. In the first place, there are many different types of pollen that individuals are allergic to.
With these pollens, individuals may experience:
- Itchy throat
- Nasal congestion
- Sneezing and sniffles
- Watery or dry eyes
Additionally, anyone with sinus issues or asthma may have more side effects. To help with allergies, there are many natural vitamins and herbs you can take to help you win the fight during allergy season.
Meanwhile, mold is another problem that is very prevalent in the fall or during damp weather conditions.
Lung disease can impact anyone. As a result of Hurricane Harvey, anyone who was exposed to mold may experience inflammatory and respiratory conditions. When you’re in a damp area, it is imperative to wear safety gear.
Because of the cold and damp weather conditions; mold can create an allergic reaction in many people. However, a humidifier in your home can lessen your symptoms. Although many individuals work outside, it is important to wear a face mask, gloves and safety goggles.
First and foremost, anyone who smokes can have problems with their lungs. Moreover, smoking leads to problems with your air passageway. Anyone who smokes can encounter other medical problems such as:
