National Healthy Lung Awareness Month

October is National Healthy Lung Awareness Month. So, the average person takes over 23,000 breaths a day. Indeed, we all want to be here taking in many more breaths in our lifetime. Because many individuals have problems pertaining to their lungs, let’s take a look at symptoms that impact our lungs.

Healthy Lung Awareness Month

As seasons change, many individuals have problems with pollen. In the first place, there are many different types of pollen that individuals are allergic to.

With these pollens, individuals may experience:

  • Cough
  • Hives
  • Itchy throat
  • Nasal congestion
  • Sneezing and sniffles
  • Watery or dry eyes

Additionally, anyone with sinus issues or asthma may have more side effects. To help with allergies, there are many natural vitamins and herbs you can take to help you win the fight during allergy season.

Mold

Meanwhile, mold is another problem that is very prevalent in the fall or during damp weather conditions.

Lung disease can impact anyone. As a result of Hurricane Harvey, anyone who was exposed to mold may experience inflammatory and respiratory conditions. When you’re in a damp area, it is imperative to wear safety gear.

Because of the cold and damp weather conditions; mold can create an allergic reaction in many people. However, a humidifier in your home can lessen your symptoms. Although many individuals work outside, it is important to wear a face mask, gloves and safety goggles.

Smoke

First and foremost, anyone who smokes can have problems with their lungs. Moreover, smoking leads to problems with your air passageway. Anyone who smokes can encounter other medical problems such as:

  • Bronchitis
  • Cardio disease
  • Emphysema
  • High blood pressure

Now, the Tobacco Companies have to tell people the truth about their products. If you smoke, it’s important that you try to quit.

Healthy Lung Month

Because lung problems impact so many, it is important to be aware of lung disease. Ultimately, exercise will help increase your lung capacity. In conclusion, let’s work on preventing lung disease and improving our health.

As always, I welcome your comments.

I had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) for 15 years. My first symptoms were dry cough, chest tightness and shortness of breath. My first chest x-ray only showed bronchitis. Finally I went to a pulmonologist, After many tests it was a CT scan that showed COPD, and scarring in my lungs. I quit smoking 17 years and 6 months ago. But the damage has been done. I got to the point I couldn’t catch my breath and was coughing so hard I thought the top of my head would blow off. The day after I had the scan I was on oxygen the next night and was on it 24/7. December 2017 my pulmonologist and I decided to go with natural treatment and was introduced to Mbeki Herbal Clinic natural organic COPD Herbal formula, i had a total decline of symptoms with this COPD Herbal formula treatment. The infections, shortness of breath, fatigue, dry cough and other symptoms has subsided. After having a persistent cough for over a year, I was diagnosed with COPD in March 2015. In 2016 my COPD got worse to the point where not only do I have trouble sleeping at night, I also struggle to get air into my lungs. I read in a health forum of a herbal centre (Traditional Herbal Healing Centre) who have successful treatment to COPD/Emphysema, i immediately contacted the herbal centre via their website and purchased the COPD herbal remedy, I used the remedy for 2 weeks, all my symptoms were reversed, i did another test for confirmation, i was declared COPD free. email (traditionalherbalhealingcentre@gmail.com) or WhatsApp him on +2348140033827.
