Diet Resolution Week January 1 – 7 2018

So for many, January is the start of a diet resolution. When the New Year begins, many of you will make plans to go to the gym regularly and start a diet. But, will you stick to this plan?

So, are you ready to get motivated and kick off the year with diet and exercise? Although everyone seems to start the year off gung-ho about going to the gym and eating healthier, a month into the year and you’re already eating things you were going to try to eliminate. And, you haven’t made it to the gym in the last few weeks.

In the first place, you need to reprogram your thought process to lose weight. Indeed, it is a lifestyle change. Above all, you need to make a few changes in your food intake to succeed. As you change your mindset so you’re making healthier food choices; you will be on the road to a healthy lifestyle.

Focus on Your Diet Resolution

Since many of us tend to focus on work, family and friends; it is time to take control and focus on ourselves. First and foremost, put the time into things you need to do to focus on. When starting a diet, focus on shopping and preparing healthy food.  Hence, schedule the time for exercise. As you create more time for yourself; ultimately you will achieve better results.

Diet Resolution Choices

Are you ready to start a diet? Of course, not everyone has luck on following a specific diet. At the same time, it is important to focus on what works for you. In my opinion, the best diet is one that is low-carb. For example, it is important to eat healthier fats such as meat, cheese, and protein. In addition, when I feel my diet is off, I often seek out a Nutritionist.

In the meantime, it is important to set goals. As you succeed in your diet, reward yourself. Although this may require some creativity; give yourself something for meeting your goals. In summary, I have found the best way to diet is to lose .05 – 2 pounds a week.
