Benefits of Cardio Exercise Fitness Plan

When you’re just starting out exercising; a cardio exercise plan is one that should be at the top of your list. In the first place, any type of cardiovascular exercise will help your heart.

Benefits of Cardio Exercise

First and foremost,  it is important to keep your heart healthy. One of the best ways to do this is to get your heart rate up. The American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes of exercise a week. However, if you exercise at a faster rate, 75 minutes a week is recommended. So over the course of a week, 150 minutes computes to 22 minutes a day.

In my opinion, one of the best exercises anyone can do is, walk. If you’re just getting started, visit our Fifteen Minute Treadmill Beginner Workout post. When you first start walking, start at a slower pace. As you get more comfortable, you can increase your pace as well as your minutes.

Helps your Immunity System

Another reason to do any type of cardio exercise, is it helps your immune system become stronger. No doubt, we all want to reduce our body’s risk of any type of disease or infection.

Whenever you exercise, it helps with weight loss. As we get older, our body slows down. And, the best way to increase our metabolism, is to do any type of cardiovascular exercise. Moreover, any type of cardio exercise will help your metabolism. As your metabolism increases, it is easier to lose weight.

Of course, cardio exercise helps you lose weight. In fact, just by starting a simple plan, you will see results. As you exercise more, it is easier to burn calories. Also, it helps control your fat.

Since most people are trying to lose weight, why not start today? By starting slowly, you can increase your level to a more moderate intensity as you get more comfortable.

In essence, cardio exercise helps improve your circulation. As you build your fitness level, you can add interval training and other types of up tempo training.
